Michael Sharp of Punxsutawney waived his preliminary hearing on charges he stole a cell phone.
According to reports, the charges came about after the victim discovered his cell phone missing. He told Reynoldsville Police that he kept the phone in a basket as he didn’t use it much and it was missing after a man believed to be working for the housing authority did some work in his apartment in June. The phone, when located, had been given to the man by Sharp.
Further investigation showed Sharp had indeed taken the phone, but he sad he never used it. Sharp is currently free on bail.
