David Poulson of Oil City, the former priest accused of sexually abusing two boys over a period of years, will face a jury trial next year in Jefferson County.
Poulson, formerly of the Erie Diocese, had the charges filed against him in May by State Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
Jury selection is expected to begin February 11th, followed by the trial at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Brookville. The case is being prosecuted by Senior Deputy Attorney General Daniel J. Dye.
Anyone with information about sexual abuse by Poulson or any priest is asked to contact the Office of Attorney General’s Clergy Abuse Hotline at 1-888-538-8541.
