Michael Trunzo of Brockway waived his preliminary hearing Friday on marijuana and paraphenalia charges.
The charges stem from a traffic stop on September 15th when Trunzo was pulled over for an inoperable tail light and registration lamp. The officer got a whiff of marijuana when he got to the car and asked Trunzo about it. Trunzo denied it at first but then said he had a pipe and handed it over. Trunzo told police he hadn’t smoked in a couple of days and passed a field sobriety test. When he was informed that police had probable cause for a search, Trunzo admitted to having about two ounces of marijuana in the truck.
Trunzo was placed in custody and told police he usually buys the marijuana, sells it to his friends and they get together and play Fortnite. He was arraigned on the 15th in Judge Inzana’s office, and is currently free on bail waiting on his court date.
