Daniel Barlow of Clarion is up on charges after allegedly hitting a boy in his care.
According to reports, State Police and CYS interviewed the victim, who said he was lying face down on the bed when Barlow hit him in the face on September 20th. The victim’s mother said she had Barlow babysit the victim while she was at work. She also said the previous week the victim was jumping on the bed and Barlow hit him in the throat, causing scratches.
Barlow was charged last Friday in Judge Quinn’s office on simple assault and harassment charges. He is currently free on bail and has a preliminary hearing next Tuesday.
