Marienville State Police say two people were injured in a motorcycle crash in Farmington Township yesterday afternoon.
Investigators say that the riders – a 49 yr-old man and a 48 yr-old woman from Midland – were rounding a curve on route 36 just west of Breezemont Drive, the kickstand was down and scraped the roadway, which caused the bike to go off the road, hit several trees and end up over an embankment.
Both people on the bike were wearing helmets but were injured and transported by medical helicopter to Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Troopers say the operator was cited and they were assisted at the scene by Clarion EMS and Farmington Volunteers.
