Punxsutawney State Police are investigating some thefts in the area.
Troopers investigated an incident of theft in Rose Township. Investigators say theft happened sometime between October 31, and this past Tuesday (November 13), at a residence along State Route 28 in Rose Township. No estimate of loss was available.
Also, Punxsutawney PSP investigated a theft of a black LG smart phone from a known victim in Henderson Township. They say the phone was returned to the victim, and no criminal charges were filed.

Punxsutawney State police say they have charged an Apollo man with possession following a traffic stop earlier this month in South Mahoning Township.
Troopers say they stopped 19-yr-old Daniel Ork-wis on Fisher Road and Route 210 around 3:30 AM on November 3rd. Police allege they found a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
One traffic offense charge and possession charges were filed against Ork-wis in Clymer District Court with no hearing date was set.

Punxsutawney State police are looking into an incident in Bell Township, Clearfield County.
They say a juvenile boy is suspected of sending threatening messages to a 15-yr-old girl from Punxsutawney and a 14-yr-old girl from Mahaffey at the end of September.
Details are scarce but troopers do say the incident happened at a residence along McGee’s Mills Road.
