The Indiana County Commissioners approved their budget for 2019 with no tax increases, despite some changes to the one that was first proposed in November.
One thing that has not changed: The real estate tax will remain the same at 4.445 mills.
The Commissioners also approved an agreement to house federal inmates at the Indiana County Jail at a cost of $78 a day. The commissioners authorized the purchase of a new Ford Transit van for use at the jail in order to help facilitate that agreement.
