Gas prices are falling again, and it’s another drastic drop.
In the last week, it’s down nearly nine cents a gallon across western Pennsylvania. That’s a bigger decrease than the statewide average, which is five cents per gallon cheaper than a week ago.
According to Triple A, the national average per gallon is $2.31. GasBuddy.com shows Punxsutawney at $2.48, Indiana around $2.49 and DuBois at the lowest in the region with a gallon of gas st $2.29.
Triple-A says nearly 20 states are enjoying gas prices under two dollars a gallon, and in January, demand is expected to drop and so will prices.
