
A man from Punxsutawney is facing charges after he allegedly threatened his wife.
According to online court documents, Punxsutawney State Police filed criminal charges, including terroristic threats against 31-year-old Robert Altman from Punxsutawney in Magisterial District Judge Mizerock’s office.
Authorities say the incident occurred on December 29 at a residence on Eagle Point Lane in Bell Township, Jefferson County. The police report alleges that Altman shoved the victim, got a gun and said he was going to “bash her brains in with it” and that “he got a knife and said he would slit (her) throat,” according to the complaint.
Altman was arraigned on December 30th. A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled. He is free on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.
