
We have an update in a child endangerment case involving a three-year-old girl who left a Seneca residence after her mother passed out from mixing alcohol and anxiety medication.
Online court documents show on January 1, State Police in Franklin charged 23-year-old Breann Shaw of Seneca with endangering the welfare of children.
According to the criminal complaint, on the evening of December 31, investigators arrived at Pin Oak Village in Cranberry Township, Venango County, for a reports of a three-year-old girl, who was outside in the rain with no coat or shoes.
Troopers discovered Shaw unconscious on her couch, and made several attempts to wake her up. Authorities say Shaw finally came to but was highly disoriented.
State Police report Shaw had admitted to taking anxiety medication and drinking 12 beers.
Shaw is currently free on $15,000.00 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on January 9 with Judge Fish presiding.
