Nationally the unemployment rate is 3.7 percent, and recently the State Department of Labor and Industry released the November unemployment rate for Pennsylvania, which was at 4.2 percent.
In comparison to the state’s unemployment rate, Jefferson County reported at 4.4 percent. Clearfield County checked in with a 5.0 unemployment rate, while Indiana County fell by three-tenths of a percentage point from October to 4.8 percent.
