
A driver and his passenger were rushed to Penn Highlands Clearfield following a rollover crash on Interstate 80 in Pine Township.
According to State Police in Dubois, around five o’clock on January 3, 35-year-old Passang T. Sherpa, of Akron, Ohio, was traveling west on I-80, around mile marker 109, traveling in the left lane. He lost control of his truck on a bend in the roadway. The vehicle crossed over into the right lane and veered off onto the right side of the road into a cement culvert and overturned.
Sherpa and his passenger, 48-year-old Tandu T. Tamang of Akron, Ohio, suffered minor injuries. Clearfield County EMS personnel transported both individuals to Penn Highlands Clearfield.
Authorities cited Sherpa for being at fault.
