
Police found a missing teen in Punxsutawney.
State Police in Punxsutawney say, between the hours of 11:45 a.m. on January 1 and 6:30 a.m. on January 2, they investigated the report of a missing person.
The victim, a 16-year-old girl from Delancey, was found on January 2 in Punxsutawney Borough by the Punxsutawney Borough Police.

State Police are investigating a burglary in Punxsutawney.
Authorities say the incident occurred on November 18 at the residence of 71 year old Dana Schaffron Juneau Road, Canoe Twp, Indiana County when jewelry was stolen.
According to the report a diamond ring valued at $1,400, a gold ring with four stones valued at $900, a diamond necklace with a gold chain of $400 and about $1,500 in change was also taken.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Punxsutawney State Police.

Brookville Borough Police report they stopped a man for a suspected forged inspection on his vehicle.
According to police, a 47 year old man was pulled over on Friday on Summit Street, Brookville Borough, Jefferson County for a suspected forged inspection. After further investigation, police discovered the inspection was forged and he was charged for driving with an un-inspected vehicle and forgery.

Charges have been filed for a PFA violation. State Police in Punxsutawney responded to a complaint for indirect criminal contempt on Heathville Road, Summerville Borough, Jefferson County on December 21 around 9 pm.
Authorities say a protection from abuse order was violated by 37 year old Mathew Bookamer from Clarion and charges were filed through the District Court.
