
A man fell asleep at the wheel and crashed on I-80 on Dec. 30.
DuBois State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash that occurred around 2:26 p.m. I-80 West at mile marker 108.8 in Pine Township, Clearfield County.
Police say the driver, 71-year-old Theodore W. Threadgill of Wichita, Kansas, fell asleep at the wheel, veered off the roadway, and struck a ditch line.
Authorities say Threadgill was at fault and cited accordingly. Clearfield County EMS personnel transported Threadgill to Penn Highlands DuBois. Police say Threadgill was using a seat belt and was not injured.
