
Western Pennsylvania gas prices Increased slightly in the last week. While national demand remains low, gas prices in Western Pennsylvania are almost two cents more expensive this week at $2.46 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
As demand remains low, gasoline stocks continued to grow this week, adding 2.5 million barrels. While data was not available from Triple A highlighting a few other areas, the gas average is $2.57 in Brookville and $2.42 for Clarion. In DuBois, it’s $2.51 per gallon and Indiana averages $2.55.
On the national front, it’s a penny more expensive on the week. The national gas price average is $2.25, which is an increase for the first time since October. The price of crude oil has been slowly but steadily increasing since the beginning of the year, which is starting to push up pump prices.
