The Chief of the Sykesville Fire Department has requested the assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal to help determine the cause and origin of a fire.
According to the Punxsutawney State Police, a three-stall garage belonging to a 50 year old man from Reynoldsville was destroyed last Friday night in an accidental fire caused by an electrical issue in the garage.
No injuries occurred and damage is estimated at $100,000.
