
A man from DuBois pleaded guilty in federal court to unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charges.
According to WTAJ News, 58-year-old Vincent L. Ruchlewicz was in possession of numerous firearms on March 1, 2018. Published reports say, on Feb. 28, 2011, Ruchlewicz had been convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. It’s against the law for someone convicted of a crime with a prison sentence that exceeds one year to possess firearms.
Ruchlewicz will be sentenced June 3rd, 2019. He faces up to 10 years in prison, a fine of $250,000 or both.
