
Indiana Borough Police have arrested a Lancaster man for a shooting and a robbery in the 600 block of School Street.
Borough police were called out just before midnight on Wednesday for a report of shots fired at the Crimson Square Apartments. When officers arrived, they detained a man trying to leave the area. The victims said the suspected, identified as Olajuwon Kadeem Ali Lewis of Lancaster, pulled a gun on them and demanded money and drugs. He allegedly struck one of the victims in the head with the handgun, and fired a shot from his own gun into the ceiling.
Lewis allegedly took money, a firearm and a small amount of marijuana from the victims. The victims were able to positively identify Lewis as their attacker.
He was charged with robbery, aggravated assault, simple assault, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, terroristic threats, and other crimes. Lewis was arraigned and placed in Indiana County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for February 5th.
