
Two people were injured in an accident that happened on Route 36 south of the Tionesta Dam.
According to the State Police in Marienville, the incident occurred this past Wednesday evening around 8 p.m., when 42 year old William Averill from Pleasantville failed to follow a curve in the road and hit a rock embankment.
Troopers say Averill was flown to UPMC in Erie for unknown injuries, while his passenger, 39-year old Joshua Schmader, also from Pleasantville, was taken to the Clarion Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Averill was cited for the accident.
