A man from Punxsutawney is facing aggravated assault and other charges after allegedly punching a victim in the face multiple times is due in court this week.
According to ExploreJefferson.com, 41 year old David M. Bartlebaugh from Punxsutawney is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in Jefferson County District Court tomorrow afternoon. The published reports says Punxsutawney Borough Police Department filed charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person against Bartlebaugh on Jan. 15.
The published report says, on Monday, January 7, a man came to the Punxsutawney Borough Police Station to report that he was assaulted by Bartlebaugh.
Unable to post $50,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
