
A man from Rimersburg man was arrested for delivering drugs in a mailbox. Clarion State Police say on January 19 around 11:30 pm on Groves Road in Porter Township in Clarion County when 38 year old John Smeltzer allegedly put marijuana and paraphernalia in the mailbox of 27 year old Nicole Boyles also from Rimersburg.
Charges will be filed at the District Court.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal has determined the cause of a fire to be incendiary. Investigators say this past Friday a fire was set on the inside of the house of 25 year old Roman Byler of Smicksburg on Stephen Rd., West Mahoning Township in Indiana County.
According to authorities, no one was injured and the damage is estimated at $50,000.

The driver in a car crash on Friday left the scene, but then returned. State Police In Punxsutawney say the accident occurred on Route 536 near the intersection of Firehall Road in Ringold Township in Jefferson County around 2 pm when a driver left the roadway and hit two mailboxes before regaining control of the vehicle and left the scene.
Authorities say the suspect returned a short time later and contacted the property owners about the damage.
No injuries were reported and names were not released.

This past Friday a woman flipped her vehicle when she was driving too fast on an icy road. The State Police in Indiana say the accident happened around 2 in the afternoon when Anna Lindemuth from Tidioud was driving on Clymer Road in Cherry Hill Township when she tried to make a left hand turn, rolled her vehicle over and slid for several feet until coming to rest on the property of Blair Long from Clymer.
According to the Troopers, Lindemuth was wearing her seat belt and not injured; however she was cited for driving too fast for the conditions of the road.
