
The Pennsylvania State Police out of Punxsutawney are investigating a case of terroristic threats allegedly made by a Brookville Area High School student.
Investigators say they received information about an alleged threat made by a 14 year old male to a 16 year old male, both from Knox. According to authorities, the 14 year old threatened to shoot up the home of the 16 year old. The State Police verified the boy had no access to weapons and the investigation is ongoing.

A man from Knox who was wanted on charges related to robbing a convenience store in West Virginia was arrested on Tuesday.
ExploreClarion.com reports 42-year-old Michael Sayre of Chester, West Virginia, and formerly of Knox, Pennsylvania, is facing charges related to a robbery at a store in West Virginia, on Monday. Investigators say Sayer was arrested at his home in Knox on Tuesday.
According to the published report, Clarion State Police lodged Sayer in the Clarion County Jail in lieu of $75,000.00 cash bail and is currently awaiting extradition back to West Virginia.

Some items were allegedly stolen from a vehicle at a rest stop on I-80.
According to investigators, a 21 year old man from Brooklyn, New York recently reported to the State Police in DuBois he was at a rest stop on I 80 west near mile marker 88 in Washington Township, Jefferson County on January 14 when he claims his iPhone X was stolen along with some other items with a value totaling more than $1,000.

A car crashed into a disabled tractor trailer yesterday morning in Farmington Township.
State Police in Marienville say just after 6 am yesterday 57-year-old William D. Chiplis of Punxsutawney was on a snow-covered Route 36 just south of Fire Tower Road in Farmington Township, Clarion County. According to authorities, while Chiplis was going up hill he crossed into the other lane to pass a parked tractor trailer on the side of the road and then became stuck. Troopers say 34 year old Kari Heeter of Leeper was driving south on 36 and was unable to stop and crashed into Chiplis’ tractor trailer.
Both had seat bealts on and there were no injuries.
