This past Friday a woman from Brookville was injured in a roll-over crash.
The State Police in Punxsutawney say the incident happened close to 8 in the morning when 45-year old Dana Smeal of Brookville was driving on State Route 36 near Hoffman Hollow Road in Oliver Township, Jefferson County, traveled through a curve and onto a straight stretch, fish tailed, drove off the road up an embankment, then down to the shoulder of the road before rolling onto its roof.
Smeal was wearing her seat belt but she was taken to the Punxsutawney Area Hospital for injuries, No word on her condition, but she was cited for not driving at a safe speed.
