A Punxsutawney woman is facing one count of child endangerment following a report of a young child playing in a parking lot underdressed for the cold and unsupervised.
ExploreJefferson.com cites the court documents that show the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against 27-year-old Jessica L. Latta of Punxsutawney. The published reports say a witness stated the child ran around the parking lot without supervision and proper clothing in frigid temperatures, according to the complaint.
A preliminary hearing is set for Thursday, March 7.
