
On Sunday a car crashed into the back of a truck that was spreading anti-skid.
The State Police in DuBois say the accident occurred on route 219 in Washington Township in Jefferson County, when 51 year old Lawrence Smith of Reynoldsville was spreading anti-skid on the road and was about to make a left turn and failed to notice a car in the left lane driven by 44 year old David Schamahl of Tonawnada NY.
Schmahl was unable to stop and hit the rear of Smith’s truck.
Everybody was wearing seat belts and nobody was hurt. Smith was cited for not using the proper method for turning.

A man from Clarion was cited for harassment after an argument tuned physical.
The incident occurred on February 9th on Route 68 in Monroe Township of Clarion County when 60 year old Glenn Hedrick allegedly used an open hand and slapped a 56 year old woman two to three times, pushed and threw water on her. Both are from Clarion.
No signs of injury were documented.

Last week a woman from Shippenville was in a single-car crash and failed to notify police.
The State Police in Clarion say the accident happened on I80 when a car driven by 47 year old Sheila Lynn Lerch from Shippenville was going around a curve and lost control of her car, traveled across the other side of the road and hit a PennDOT sign. According to authorities, Lerch failed to call the State Police for an investigation and she was cited for not driving on roads laned for traffic.

The State Police in Punxsutawney received a report of a missing ordered package.
A 51 year old man from Westover in Burnside Township in Clearfield County reported to the police he ordered a $70 James Conner Steelers Jersey and it never arrived or it was stolen from his residence.

Charges were filed but we have scant details about an assault that occurred about two weeks ago.
According to authorities, the victim is a 25 year old man from Punxsutawney who was involved in a physical altercation on Pleasant Hill Road Gaskill Township, Jefferson County between 8 and 9 pm on February 7.
The State Police in Punxsutawney have filed charges in the District Court and released no other information.

A domestic assault occurred on Sunday in Falls Creek.
The State Police in DuBois say the incident happened just after 1 pm when 38 year old Nicholas Bibbs allegedly hit a 39 year old woman and then strangled her to unconsciousness.
Authorities say there both from Falls Creek and it occurred on Short Street. The investigation is open pending further court proceedings.

A woman from Pittsburgh was arrested for DUI at a traffic safety checkpoint.
The State Police in Punxsutawney say the arrest happened on February 3 around 5 pm on Harrison Street in Summerville Borough in Jefferson County and it resulted in a DUI for a 26 year old woman from Pittsburgh.
No other details were released.

A landlord was cited for disorderly conduct.
According to authorities, the incident happened on Sunday evening around 5 in Shelocta on Snowdrift Drive in Indiana County, when Matthew Ramer allegedly went into a tenant’s apartment and ransacked it when the renter, Saige Shelkey, was not home.
Investigators say charges were filed against Ramer through the District Court.
