Part of Route 208 in Knox was closed yesterday for about six and a half hours, because of a police standoff.
ExploreClaion.com reports it started around 10:30 am when the police received a report of a domestic incident at a home near the intersection of Shettler Road and Route 208. The published reports says Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) were there with rifles pointed toward the home as nearby residents were told to stay inside their homes until last evening when the male suspect was taken into custody.
With the investigation being active, no other detail’s were released.
