Last Tuesday morning the Jefferson County Commissioners heard from Deputy Emergency Management Agency Directer Chris Clark who reported on the windstorm.
According to Jefferson County Neighbors, Saturday Edition, Clark said they processed 186 calls to the 9-1-1 center and estimated there were about 300 incidents through out Jefferson County. The published report says several people reported having no power and as of Tuesday’s meeting, there were still around a thousand people without electric.
The next Jefferson County Commissioners meeting will be March 12, at 10:30 am at Jefferson Place.
