
A man from New Bethlehem was arrested for allegedly choking his father and firing a gun.
According to the State Police in Clarion, on Sunday night in Porter Township they were called to the scene of a domestic dispute on Shrub Road, where 52 year old man from New Bethlehem reported his son 29 year old Zachary Unger assaulted him, chocked him to the point of unconsciousness, threatened to kill him and fired a gun hitting a vehicle in the driveway. Another victim is a 22 year old Sigel woman.
The police say Unger surrendered and he was arraigned yesterday on seven charges, including strangulation, terrorist threats and simple assault and is in the Clarion County Jail in lieu of $25K cash bail.
