Due to the colder temperatures, instead of having the Punxsutawney Borough Council meeting outside last evening, it was held in the Central Fire Department Truck bay to accommodate social distancing.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the council approved a bid for paving at a cost of around $73,000. The published report says motions were made and carried unanimously, 5-0, for oil and chipping as well.
