The Middlesex County Department of Emergency Management in New Jersey on Wednesday began using a saliva-base test for the COVID-19 and according to WABX New York, it was approved by the FDA and promises results in 24 to 48 hours.
Labs say they can handle tens of thousands of samples daily.
