Pennsylvania State Police are warning residents about scams related to COVID 19 financial relief.
Callers will claim to have information on secret government programs and will offer to help with applications for a fee. Other scams involve emails, robocalls or texts purportedly from government agencies seeking information such as bank account numbers, user names or passwords.
Authorities remind residents to never give out personal information to any requesting it, in order to receive your stimulus payment. Remember to make sure your computer has the latest updates and an antivirus program.
