There was a crash landing at the Punxsutawney Municipal Airport last evening around 6.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, it was a small Piper aircraft that didn’t deploy its landing gear. The published reports says the pilot was not injured, while the Punxsutawney Fire Departments, Elk Run and Lindsey were assisted with members from Central to remove the plane from the runway.
