The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline across the Commonwealth stands at $2.50.
Last year at this time it was $2.71 per gallon and according to AAA, local counties are averaging $2.56 in Jefferson, $2.58 in Clearfield, and $2.54 in Indiana, while Clarion County has the lowest average at $2.51.
The national average is at $2.19 per gallon.
