An employee at a fast food restaurant in Jefferson County was charged with theft by unlawful taking.
According to the Brookville Borough Police department the incident occurred between August 5th through September 8th when it was discovered more than $3,000 was stolen.
The name of the suspect facing the third degree felony charge was not in the police report.
