Yesterday at noon, the Pennsylvania Department of Health released the combined weekend totals of people who have recently tested positive for COVID 19.
The sum of the the two days added 9,675 new cases of coronavirus in the commonwealth. More than 2,400 people are hospitalized with more than 500 patients in the ICU. A total of 51 people died recently from complications of COVID 19.
Locally, Indiana County had 101 new confirmed cases, Clarion County had 82, Clearfield County had 63, while Jefferson County had the fewest with 55.
