State police have issued a news release on a fatal motorcycle accident on November 21st in Jefferson County.
23-year-old Michael Schrecengost of Dayton died after he lost control of his motorcycle on Panic Knoxdale Road in McCalmont Township while traveling shortly before 6 PM. Police say Schrecengost applied the brakes for an unknown reason and left 96 feet of skid marks, wobbled side-to-side for another 224 feet, and then the bike left the road, traveled through a field and went about 122 feet before hitting a utility pole.
Schrecengost died during a Lifeflight helicopter flight from the accident scene.
