Punxsutawney-based State Police say a 72-year-old Punxsutawney man was recently scammed out of $4500 in gift cards.
Pennsylvania State Police say the victim reported the theft by deception Dec. 5, saying he gave the card information over the phone to a person claiming to be a financial manager for Amazon.
The investigation is ongoing.
