Charges have been filed against a Summerville man who was allegedly caught in possession of child pornography.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com, authorities say the charges stem from a year long investigation that began in Dec. of 2019 when an Instagram representative reported several images to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators traced the IP address back to the Summerville residence. Warrants were served to search the residence and other social media accounts.
He was arraigned on Thursday Dec. 17 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 5.
