In an update of a story we had for you last week, a 30-year-old man was taken into custody for arson following a structure fire investigation at the Old Johnsonburg Hotel in Elk County.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, the hotel was recently purchased after being abandoned for a number of years, the fire broke out on December 30th.
During the investigation, PA State Police Fire Marshal and Johnsonburg Fire Department determined that the suspect entered the structure and set it on fire.
The investigation is ongoing.
