Punxsutawney Area Hospital officials said they are following strict CDC and state Department of Health guidelines for the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, the hospital previously reported receiving its first doses of the Moderna vaccine just before Christmas.
The hospital is still working in the Tier 1a category of the CDC guidelines which included medical professionals, EMS, firefighters and law enforcement.
With limited amount of vaccine the hospital will be assessing the next steps combined with state Department of Health list.
