Details have been released regarding an accident involving a school bus last week.
62-year-old Marylynn Lemmon of Rochester Mills was injured when a Punxsutawney School District bus backed into her vehicle on SR 119.
State Police in Punxsutawney say the crash occurred just before 4 pm on Jan. 5 just north of Juneau Road in North Mahoning Township of Indiana County.
53-year-old Joshua Neidermyer of Mahaffey was driving the bus when he missed a stop. Police say he backed the bus on the roadway, striking Lemmon’s vehicle.
None of the juvenile passengers on the bus were injured.
Lemmon suffered injuries of unknown severity and was transported to Punxsy Area Hospital.
Neidermyer was not injured and was cited for traffic violation
