A traffic stop on State Route 36 led to the arrest of a Sigel man for firearms violation and drug paraphernalia.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, State Police in Marienville stopped the man for a summary traffic violation on Jan. 14 near Ferguson Road in Eldred Township of Jefferson County. Police say they found the man was in possession of firearms without having a valid permit. A search of the vehicle lead to a seizure of the firearms, numerous drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics.
Police say it was determined that the man was driving under the influence of an unknown drug at the time of the stop.
