
State Police conducted a traffic stop that lead to an arrest on Saturday afternoon.
Troopers say they stopped a vehicle on Clark Ave. in Punxsutawney for a moving violation.
During the stop, the driver appeared to be under the influence and was taken into custody.

Two people, one being a Brookville woman, are facing felony drug charges after allegedly being found with a large quantity of marijuana at a local motel.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, an employee at the motel contacted Clarion Borough Police after cleaning staff had observed what they believed was controlled substances in the room while they were working. When police searched the room they found jars and bags containing marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
The preliminary hearing is set for today.

Charges have been filed against a Walston man who allegedly grabbed, pushed, and threw a woman during two domestic incidents that occurred last year.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, State Police in Punxsutawney filed criminal charges that stem from alleged abuse that began in the middle of June last year and continued through December.
The victim reported two incidents where the man allegedly became physical with her and the complaint notes that she provided police with photographs of her injuries.
The man denied the allegations in an interview with police.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 1.
