The Punxsutawney Area School District reported four positive cases of COVID-19 at the high school on Wednesday.
According a release from the school district the four cases occurred between Jan. 11 and Jan. 20 and are unrelated to each other.
More than 40 students have been identified as close contacts of the individuals that tested positive and are under quarantine.
Jefferson County reported two additional coronavirus related deaths and 19 new cases as of Wednesday.
The county’s total case count has reached 2,331 and the death toll is at 65.
