Jefferson County Commissioners announced Tuesday they would be administering grants to businesses affected by COVID-19 for employee addition or retention.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, the county currently anticipates it will be able to provide assistance to approximately 27 small businesses. The max grant amount is $5,000 and grants will be distributed on a first come, first serve, basis.
