Punxsutawney Area School District announced Wednesday that a student at the elmentary school tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently under quarantine along with six others.
Jefferson County reported 21 new COVID-19 cases and one additional death Wednesday.
The county’s total case count has reached 2,465 and the death toll is at 72.
According to the PA Department of Health, there were 5,874 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in the state, bringing the statewide total to 818,369.
Indiana County reported 19 new coronavirus cases totaling 4,710 and no deaths. Indiana’s death toll remains at 146.
Clearfield County reported 43 new cases totaling 5,438 and four new deaths. Clearfield’s death toll has reached 94.
