
An Indiana man escaped injury last Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash on Route 110 in Rayne Township.
Troopers say the 18-year-old driver lost control of his car near Grove Chapel Road while negotiating a curve in the rode. The car left the roadway and hit a fire hydrant.
The car sustained disabling damage.

The driver involved in a one-vehicle rollover accident Thursday night on Harmony Road in Young Township escaped serious injury.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, all three Punxsutawney fire companies were dispatched to the accident. The vehicle was traveling on Route 310 when it went out of control for unknown reasons and rolled over.
State Police administered a field sobriety test to the driver.
Jefferson County EMS assisted at the scene.

Summerville and Pine Creek Fire Departments were dispatched to a rollover vehicle accident just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to Jefferson County Fire Wire, the accident occurred in the area of Love Road and Summerville Corsica Road. There were reportedly four possible patients with unknown injuries.
No further details have been released.

State Police in Clarion released the details of a chain reaction crash that shutdown I-80 westbound in Clarion Township Friday morning.
Troopers say the crash occurred about 9:15 a.m. On Friday near mile marker 68-7, as a tractor-trailer driven by an individual of Florida left the roadway and traveled down over an embankment. A second vehicle driven by an individual of Brookville attempted to slow and and struck the rear of a second tractor-trailer, driven by an individual of New York. Police say the second tractor-trailer and a third tractor-trailer driven by an individual of Upper Darby, Pa., were jackknifed across both lanes of travel and the first tractor-trailer was also in the lane of travel.
No injuries were reported.
The roadway reopened shortly after 1 p.m. Friday.

State Police in Punxsutawney responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on State Route 119 in North Mahoning Township Friday morning.
Police say a 25-year-old Rossiter man was traveling on 119 when he failed to observe a vehicle driven by a 75-year-old Northpoint man that was slowing down to turn into a residence. The vehicles collided and the Rossiter man’s vehicle then struck a utility pole just off the roadway before coming to a final rest.
No injuries were reported.
Marion Center Fire Department assisted at the scene.

A Sykesville man was involved in a rollover crash that occurred on State Route 255 Sunday afternoon.
Troopers say, the accident occurred on Route 255 near its intersection with Rita Lane in Jay Township of Elk County. The driver encountered slush and snow on the road, lost control of the vehicle, struck a ditch, then rolled onto its roof before coming to a rest.
No injuries were reported.
