The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club named its man and woman of the year Monday night during a social media event.
Scott Depp is 2021’s man of the year and Sue Wolfe is 2021’s woman of the year.
Depp is the current chief of Central Fire Department and Wolfe is a teacher at Punxsutawney Area High School.
The Punxsy Spirit says Depp served with the Boy Scouts of America, Order of the Arrow, lead the Pizza & Prevention Committee, and received the Allegheny Laurel District Award.
Wolfe teaches fitness at the Punxsutawney Community Center. She also has coordinated visits of foreign exchange students, and volunteers at the Punxsutawney Historical and Genealogical Society, the Weather Discovery Center, along with the Groundhog Club.
