
Brookville Borough Police say charges are pending against a 33-year-old Brookville man who allegedly bit a woman during a domestic incident on Friday.
Police say they were dispatched to a report of an active domestic incident and discovered that the man had bitten a female victim on the hand during the course of the incident with enough force to draw blood,

A 51-year-old Rossiter man was arrested following a traffic stop in Oliver Township of Jefferson County last Thursday.
Troopers say they stopped the vehicle on State Route 36 near Burkett Hollow Road for a moving violation and noticed the driver appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
Police then took the driver into custody for suspicion of DUI.

No injuries were reported following a one-vehicle accident in Canoe Township of Indiana County Saturday.
Troopers say the driver, a 67-year-old Rochester Mills man, was traveling along Leasure Run Road when he slid on the ice, left the roadway, and struck a tree.
Police say the vehicle sustained moderate damage and multiple airbags were deployed.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt and did not report any injuries.

A 50-year-old DuBois woman was injured following a crash in Henderson Township of Jefferson County last Thursday.
Troopers say the crash occurred on State Route 119 near Weld Road when the woman lost control of the vehicle, began to slide, left the roadway, and struck a utility pole.
Firefighters extricated her from the vehicle and she was transported to DuBois ER by Jefferson County EMS. Police listed the severity of her injuries as unknown.
Sykesville and Big Run Fire Department assisted at the scene.
