The sewer construction project on Indiana Street in Punxsutawney is still on-going.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, construction began on Dec. 3rd on the northern end of Indiana Street and proceeded south toward Gaskill Ave and while project continues to progress it is still not complete.
Punxsutawney Manager Toby Santik thanked the residents of Indiana Street for their patience and cited the winter weather as a major obstacle. He noted borough council has agreed to never start another project of that nature during the winter season.
